Note from Kod: Honestly, I think this will be the most popular to pick. Being a Battlemage owns.

  • Pros: The ability to VM, VS, VOG, VSL and VL, as well as flurry and melee effectively is great.
  • cons: dex will most often be low (coupled with heavy armor and you'll travel really slow) VOG and VM chew up mana (as does anything over the 4th circle) and it's more than likely possible in a fight with a pure mage or pure fighter, you'll get owned.

  • 100 fishing - Source of maps and fish
  • 100 cartography - Source of treasure

Assassin

  • Shortswords -High Shortswords to deal damage
  • Stealth -BS'ing and Sneaking;Run from PKers
  • Meditation -Quick good heal while sneaking without food weight
  • Light -Little extra armor to help out, yet lets you run

Assassin (Desperado) 225Dex 50Str 25Int

  • Shortswords-(100) Heightens the power of BS and Basic melee
  • Stealth-(100) Needed for backstab *raises chances of piercing armor during BS
  • Ranged- (100) Used for drawing out opponents for the BS, attacking from a safe distance
  • Unarmoured-(100) Why wear light armor and reduce your speed? Less encumberance

Rogue 200 Dex 75 Str 25 Int

  • Shortswords -Melee/BS
  • Meditation -Weightloss of Food/Good Heal in the Shadows
  • Tactics -Help hit
  • Stealth -For BS/Exploring

Bulwark

Str 75 Dex 200 Int 25

  • Weapon: Maces 100
  • Armor: Heavy 100
  • Block 100
  • Tactics 100

Duelist(Guybrush)

Str 75 Dex 150 Int 25

  • Weapon Foils 100
  • Armour Light 100
  • Healing 100
  • Locks 50
  • Traps 50

Assassin (Nick, name shall be undisclosed. For PvP. Yellow Potion reliant.)

Str 100 (train this by using UA for a while) Dex 175 Int 25

  • Weapon:Shortswords 100
  • Weapon:Foils 100
  • Armour:Light 100
  • Skill:Stealth 100

Battlemage, Nick's style

100 str 150 int 50 dex (EU will give you enough speed to move quickly)

  • 100:Whatever weapon

  • You won't need an armour class because of VS. Still, wear a robe and UA stuff!


(Note: The following class ideas can all currently be implemented after the revision of the NG server. They list 5 [usually] skiills and keep the 300-400% class cap and the 500 cap on stats into consideration)

Pure Mage #3 (Ozi)

Race: Human Max INT: 350 Max DEX: 100 Max STR: 50 Armor: None/cloth armor

  • Divinity
  • Piety
  • Sorcery
  • Magery
  • Enchanting

Special Notes: Contains all schools of magic other than Sanctity. To my knowledge, only humans could take on this role due to the extra +100% class cap they recieve.

Shadow Monk (Ozi)

Race: Gnome Max INT: 50 Max DEX: 250 Max STR: 200 Armor: No greater/heavier than Light Armor

  • Stealth
  • Sanctity
  • Unarmed
  • Meditation
  • Healing

Special Notes: Pick the Gnome race for the sole reason of running while Stealthed at 250 DEX

The Jack of All Trades (Ozi)

Race: Any Max INT: 150 Max DEX: 200 Max STR: 150 Armor: Any

  • Woodcrafting
  • Tinkering
  • Alchemy
  • Enchanting
  • Tailoring
  • Any combination of core class skills

Special Notes: Not named for its class use, but for the fact that when something needs building, this would be the character to go to. Also, Enchanting REQUIRES a INT score of atleast 100.

Pirate (Ozi)

Race: Any Max INT: 50 Max DEX: 300 Max STR: 150 Armor: Light or Medium

  • Cartography
  • Item Lore
  • Shortswords
  • Traps
  • Locks
  • Fishing (for map finding)

Wanderer (Ozi)

Race: Any Max INT: 150 Max DEX: 200 Max STR: 150 Armor: Any

  • Taming

Special Notes: No need for lockpicking, since with 150 STR, one should be able to bash open locks quickly.

Orcish BattlePriest (Ozi)

Race: Half Orc Max INT: 175 Max DEX: 125 Max STR: 200 Armor: Heavy

  • Divinity
  • Tactics (+ 15 from the Half Orc racial bonus)
  • Maces
  • Any other non-class related skills
