History of New Sosaria

New Sosaria used to be one of two continents, the other being Tanelorne. However, after a great earthquake, mountains arose between the two continents, joinging them. Since that time, a road has been built through the mountains allowing for easier and safer travel.
Can totally use more (wanted to get it started), but figured it might be best if people decide first, then write. Alternatively, perhaps egg should write it all? Perhaps wait until I've written something for every city and see if anything natural pops out (see Port Izumi for an example of the background I've been making up).
