How to acquire a house

All houses are currently sold out. Note: Houses are not for sale on alpha!

GMs reserve the right to recycle your house if you don't login for 3 months.

How much do they cost

Prices on application. General rule of thumb is: Price = Square Root of total squares in house.

Just the frame is sold for Real Life money. All other components (tiles and placeables) are purchased with in-game gold.

What are they good for

In you house you can drop anything and it is automatically locked down, so it won't decay and cannot be stolen. You can also terraform the floors: ie change the carpet, put in chairs, tables, etc.

Terraforming the house

Each house comes with a terraforming wand, which can be used within the boundaries of your house to pick up tiles (or convert them into tile scrolls).

Terraforming tile scrolls and placeable item scrolls are available from merchants in Dryden for in-game money. shift-r read the scroll to place it.

Containers (or mimics)

One of the placeable scrolls is for a container, which when placed resembles a mimic. Items can be 'bought' or 'sold' into the container just like the player bank.

You can personalise the mimics name with the /merchname slash command.

Where are they located

Housing is currently located in the following towns:
