Types of Cloth and Leather
There are 4 types of cloth, with different properties:
- normal
- silverweave -> silver : undead slaying / repulsion
- goldweave -> gold : lightsource
- darkweave -> blackrock : more defense
There are 3 types of leather, with different properties:
- normal
- boiled -> copper : lighter, more defence
- studded -> adamantium : even more defence
How to make coloured cloth, leather and sewing kits.
Ask an alchemist to combine silver ore/gold nuggets/treated blackrock and spider's silk to create silverweave/goldweave/darkweave thread. Then, a skilled tilor combines the thread with cloth by means of a sewing kit to make the tinted cloth.
Boiled leather is made out of cowhide by a skilled tailor, using scissors. Studded leather is made out of studs and leather by a skilled tailor using a sewing kit. Studs are made by a killed tinkerer out of ingots.
There are tinted sewing kits - get a skilled tinkerer to make them from normal ingots. (Boiled kit is currently called copper until fixed.)
Repairing leather weapons
Drop your weapon on the ground and use (shift+u) a sewing kit on the item. (Only slings for now.)
