Digitalised sound effects can be found in the ..\euo\sound folder in a Waveform Audio File Format (*.wav) and can be exchanged with custom WAV-files to change the game play experience.

EUO supports mp3 and midi music. EUO comes with music (see Credits) but you can use whatever music you like, or turn it off via the options menu (F12). To use any midi or mp3 files copy them into the ../euo/sound folder and rename them according to the list below.

  • intro.mid or intro.mp3 : intro music
  • 0.mid / 0.mp3 : continent music - will play if no dungeon music found
  • 1.mid / 1.mp3 : dungeon music
  • 2.mid / 2.mp3 : town music
