Werewolves and Lycanthropy

this needs updating to include the latest wolf changes on alpha, and probably to be a little less conversational as well. good start tho.

Introduction

Since v1.007 werewolves/lycanthropes has been introduced as well as moon cycles. Heres how it works:

Every 6 hours of real time is one full moon cycle game time, both waning and waxing. The more notable phases are the new moon and the full moon. Although nothing happens during the new moon, although it's the midpoint between full moons. Every full moon at midnight (00:00 game time) a few werewolf monsters are spawned and any players with the L status, or the lycanthrope disease, turn into werewolves.

Upon transformation, all equipment is removed and your sprite is chance to a werewolf tile. You cannot use any potions or equipment like rafts or grappling hooks. Your AS becomes 25 and your AC 20, you get a large speed boost and you can heal yourself fully by eating corpses.

Sounds like a good idea? Well, merchants shun players diseased with lycanthropy. Player merchants included, even your own.

Want to become a werewolf? During a full moon get bitten by either a player werewolf or a monster werewolf. Every bite is a chance to contract the disease. Have the disease and don't want it? Now you can, by completing a quest. If you complete the lycanthropy quest which starts with Old Henry then you will obtain a silver potion as your reward. The silver potion cures lycanthropy and gives immunity to it, even if you hadn't contracted the disease to begin with.

How to obtain a cure your lycanthropy

Ask just about any NPC (eg a guard) about a cure to get started.
