18 Dec (for Eftv)

  • changed 'don't have any potions' to 'don't have anything to drink'

  • (greater summons simply summons anything from 'monster family 5' which is basically anything from a wight to a dragon - I might change it so it just summons higher end mobs)
  • updated ICK (giblet golem curse) such that the giblets are greenbar allys and that it's only PvM - and that they should give the caster xp
  • updated PvP checks and disabled vs neutral for soul Transfer MPT

  • fixed NG subclass bug
  • a killed player vamp drops vamp dust instead of corpse
  • for non dragon pets excluding skel & undead dragon, when a pet is tamed or evolves it gets minimum stats based on how good your taming skill is - this significantly beefs up non dragon pets and makes them comparable to a red or black dragon - guna test this on alpha for a bit, and looking for feedback: base stats proportional to taming are hp: 725, int 750, MR 375, AS 38, AC 40, dmg 5d7, speed max 500ms
  • added support for server side player lua scripts
  • /vamp is now /script vamp (alpha only still)
  • use /script necro to convert a sorcerer to necro on alpha (and back again)
  • necros get bonus xp from summons: up to a max of 50% (normally the xp you get from a summon is 10%) - the necro xp summon bonus is proportional to your skill in necromancy
  • added create undead charm spell for taming undead pets
  • diseased monsters lose 25% def, 25% MR (and diseased mobs don't spread it like zombies or diseased players)
  • finished spread disease spell - changed to AoE - moved to circle 6
  • added diseased 'Z' to the <> above heads - might change to avoid confusion with sleep
  • updated Kal Xen such that it no longer spawns undead
  • made ICK (giblet golems) and FGC (exploding corpse) AoE mass curses

1 Aug Moa 1.3.3

  • new spell fx for necros
  • put stat cap on NG up to 1000
  • note too that sorcery skill points is listed with an indent - that is part of the upcoming necro revision - remember, sorcery is now a subclass of magery (and necromancy is too)

  • rats don't drop corpses on newbie island

  • if you are encumbered then your load: line in stats is displayed in red (req patch)
  • if you have xp<500 and are encumbered you will get a message about it
  • added little quest in Nord jail that teaches a newbie about cooking

  • fixed bug with petloading - all golem's MR should be back up to at least 2k (and 2.88k if both wands used)
  • pet MR capped at 3k (golems with both INT wands applied will give them 2.8k)

  • respawned the underworld full of drakes and corpsers
  • polymorph (VYR) time up to 60 sec, from 20
  • changed thieve's guild/Katorina quest to a simple kill, claim item, return - rather than get the item on the floor - which is causing problems for newbies

  • using keyboard in inventory to scroll will hide mouse
  • added /glowtoggle command to disable the new colours on named mythic items - ie you can keep your purple tint if you want - it's free to use and only works on named mythic, mystic and astral weapons - works only on whatever is equipped in main hand!
  • when naming an item you can add an _ to the name at the end to keep the purple glow if that item is made mythic, mystic or astral

fixed

  • inv sync such that it syncs once and stays synched
  • id/uncurse all such that items stayed stacked
  • uncurse all such that no longer require sync after it's done with detect buff (which combined with above bugs would cause a server meltdown)
  • client when click on screen when talking to npc, it wrote a number in chat
  • lug's ruined base quests where killing some rogues didn't count
  • maybe fixed monster names being visibly reused inappropriately

improvements

  • when use alt+dir to use item (eg axe) f9 remembers that direction
  • can unbind an item bound to key by just hitting that key again as if to bind
  • don't need to press alt when binding items to f keys (meaning you can now bind an item to f4)
  • added grey wizard avatar so can be dyed and used on various npcs (NFS yet)
  • dropped use item cooloff to 1 sec, down from 1.5 sec
  • slowed down visible missile speed
  • trolls axe-missiles now drawn

clans

  • scrapped /makekey
  • halls can be opened with regular keys or skullkeys, as long as you are in the clan
  • clan leaders can /movecontainer
  • fixed bugs with leader changes and container ownership - new leaders should be able to move and remove containers
  • clan ranks - set with /setrank

  • fixed bug where IVPY enchants not dropping
  • fixed kraken & crab not giving coins to all participants
  • scav hunt medium requires only 10 items now (may require next day regen to take effect)

  • added range of vermilion weapons (and gloves) blueprints at the crystal coins shops - vermilion items are blackrock weapons with a Vas Flam enchant
  • added blackrock dragonscale saw blueprint at the crystal coin shop
  • added scroll of demythification to the addy coin scroll shoppe that strips mythic of an item and gives you the ingredients (and item) back
  • LOTL no longer needs to use destroy sigil scroll to replace a sigil (they get no warning however so be careful)
  • polypile now places resulting item in inventory
  • can't ID items in other people's houses
  • new characters now start with 20 pieces of bread (up from 3)
  • pets res with 1/3 health via standard raise pet scroll
  • vamp in sun fixes - s/b more dangerous, bandage doesn't work nor any of the regens, med, HoT etc - please post any other sun workarounds in the bugs thread

  • multiclass changes
    • if you have points in fighter, then you can hide successfully in medium armour
    • the cooldown for mage spells when casting w.o staff is reduced a little, but staff still gives best cooldown
    • monk aspects stack again with other classes - ie aspect is not reset when weapon changes nor requires hands equipped when setting
  • beta changes
    • added g_dpst and g_dtpst (I should rename these) - count total damage given and taken
    • removed g_dps and g_dtps since there were innacurate (apparently)
    • added a bunch of item database funcs to the API
    • disabled 48x size tiles, back to either 32 or 64x

21 Feb

  • stealth: all races will not leave the shadows when holding the walk key down if stealth skill is 100% - however your stealthed movement speed is exactly the max speed at which you could optimally move by tapping the move keys, not your walking speed

race changes:

  • orc: scrapped tactics bonus, scrapped rage->mr, replaced with +10% MR, +15% rage gain
  • troll: dual wield slight speed increase : 10% faster
  • shadowfolk: scrapped skill bonuses, added 10% str, +3NV. Changed shadowmeld to give 20 sec of regular invisibility (you can walk, med etc)
  • skeletuns: fully scrapped fire weakness, but put MR down to 15%
  • gnome: walk 15% faster than all other races while stealthed

  • scrapped future high scav hunt, changed references to medium hunt to high hunt
